Signup continues securely on booktaxiservice.au, the BookTaxiService operator platform. New Zealand: NZD $109, $219 or $499 a month + GST, monthly only, no setup fee. The setup fee is a one-time account charge paid with your first payment. It is not a done-for-you setup service.

What happens when you sign up

  1. Choose a plan

    Pick your plan and monthly or annual billing.

  2. Enter your business

    Your business identifier (ABN in Australia, NZBN or GST number in New Zealand), address and the regions you serve.

  3. Create your admin login

    Then review and accept the terms.

  4. Verify your email

    We send a link to the admin email address.

  5. Pay by card

    The first charge is the setup fee plus the first month or year, plus GST. Starter monthly: $99 + $199 + $29.80 GST = $327.80.

  6. Your account is ready

    Once payment is confirmed, log in to your dashboard.

  • Set your vehicles and rates

    Add your vehicle types and the rates customers are quoted or charged.

  • Add your Stripe account

    To take card payments, enter your own Stripe keys and webhook signing secret. Card fares are paid into your Stripe account, not to BookTaxiService.

  • Add drivers

    Add drivers when you are ready to dispatch. They use a web portal on their phone, with nothing to install from an app store.

  • Publish your booking form

    Paste the embed code into your website, or share your hosted booking link.

Questions you would normally ask on a sales call

What is the setup fee?

For Australian plans, a one-time account setup fee charged with your first payment. It is not a done-for-you setup service. New Zealand plans have no setup fee.

Is there a contract?

You review and accept the Operator Subscription Terms before paying. Subscriptions renew automatically on the billing cycle you choose. Change-of-mind refunds are not offered. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. Email hello@booktaxiservice.au with the plan you want and we will confirm the change and any price difference.

How do I cancel?

Email hello@booktaxiservice.au. A paid-up plan is cancelled at the end of the period you have already paid for: your account and booking form keep working until then, and the plan does not renew. If a payment is overdue, the plan can only be cancelled straight away.

What about card processing fees?

Card payments you take with your own Stripe keys go into your Stripe account, and Stripe charges its own processing fee there. Separately, BookTaxiService charges your plan’s per-trip fee, plus GST, on the total fare of each completed trip, including cash and in-car card trips. Fees you owe are invoiced weekly once they reach $10, and we try to charge the card on file. If that charge fails, the invoice stays open for you to pay.

Do drivers need an app?

No. Drivers use the BookTaxiService web portal on their phone.

Do customers need an app?

No. Customers book in their browser. Direct bookings are confirmed with a one-time code sent to the customer.

How long does it take to go live?

Your account is available once payment is confirmed. After that it depends on your setup: vehicle types and rates, your service area, your Stripe keys if you take cards, then the booking form on your website or your hosted booking link. The dashboard checklist shows what is left.
